1- According to a report by local sources at dawn on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the number of prisoners executed at Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad has risen to at least 10. Previously, the identities of five political, security, and conscience prisoners, including Farhad Shakeri, Abdolhakim Azim Gargij, Abdolrahman Gargij, Taj Mohammad Khormali, and Malek Ali Fadaei Nasab, were announced.
With the identification of two more prisoners executed among those executed for general crimes, including a Balouch prisoner, the number of executed prisoners has increased, and the identities of the other three prisoners, who are said to be women, are not yet known.
Local sources have confirmed the identities of the two executed prisoners: “Amir Ahmad_Sana’i (Mazarzahi),” a married man with two children from Hirmand and a resident of Mashhad, and “Mohammad Reza_Damideh,” a 32-year-old son of Hassan, married and with three children from Neyshabur.
According to local sources, “Amir Ahmad Sanaei and Mohammad Reza Damideh were arrested by the military forces in Mashhad about three years ago and sentenced to death on drug-related charges. The sentences of these two prisoners were carried out at dawn yesterday without informing their families and without their last visits.”
Despite the widespread implementation of death sentences at Vakilabad Prison, judicial authorities have not clarified the status of these executions, and the potential for an increase in the number of executions remains.
2- Iran is experiencing an electricity shortage.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2025, a power outage in Chabahar Hospital seriously disrupted medical services and created dissatisfaction among patients and their companions.
The situation at Imam Ali Hospital in Chabahar is concerning. As one of the leading medical centres in the region, it should have the minimum emergency infrastructure. However, the lack of electricity, emergency generators, and essential services puts patients’ health at risk.
3- Shortage of Bread in Chabahar,
Due to the quota system, citizens of Chabahar are facing significant challenges in purchasing bread. This restriction has created difficulties for large families and those without bank accounts or Iranian identities.
Corruption is widespread at all levels, and even the market is not immune to it. Many bakeries sell bread to shopkeepers rather than directly to the public. This practice has worsened the bread shortage and raised its price in the open market. Bread is a staple food for households in this region.
4- Assassination
The occupants of a passenger car shot a social worker after leaving the house on April 1. He had taken bullets in the arm and leg. He had been the target on April 1 and died six days later in Zahedan’s Khatam al-Anbia Hospital. This Balouch social worker’s identity is Naser Hosseinzehi, the son of Mehrab, from the Bakhshan region of Saravan. Initially, The family transferred Hossenzehi to Saravan Razi Hospital for surgery. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was later moved to Khatam al-Anbia Hospital in Zahedan and admitted to the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, he passed away.
5- security forces raid,
On April 8, 2025, security forces, with several military and private number plate vehicles, raided several residential houses in the village of Gat Bon, a suburb of the Sarbogh district of Qasrqand City, and beat several people without providing a court order.
According to local sources, security forces stormed the village at 5 p.m. and beat several residents, including a child, after entering the residential houses. They left the town at around 19:30.
